About the USS Henry Hudson Trek Fan Club Inc.
The USS Henry Hudson is a Star Trek fan club in Poughkeepie New York. The club started as a chapter of a national fan club association on 2/7/2015. In October 2020, we broke away and registered our own independent club. The USS Henry Hudson Trek Fan Club Inc. is recognized by the State of New York as a non-profit organization.
We are not a military organization. At times, the club is referred to as a "ship." However, we do not have a physical vessel.
The club is for Star Trek fans to enjoy social activities related to Star Trek and similar topics.
Any fan of Star Trek can join the club on payment of dues and approval by Senior Staff.
Club activities include meetings, game nights, parties, Away Missions, and conventions. Annual dues help cover the cost of club activities and administration.
The club serves New York's Mid-Hudson Valley, including the counties of Dutchess, Ulster, Westchester, Putnam, Sullivan, Orange, and Rockland.
Senior Staff guides the club and consists of:
Vice-President (First Officer)
Secretary (Head of Communications)
Treasurer (Head of Operations)
Except for the Captain and First Officer, each member joins a Department. Each Department has a Department Head. Current Departments are:
